Erin Taylor, Instructor
Erin Taylor is an Irish Dancer who has competed locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. She has danced since her formative years, first with the Keane-Raney School, the Doonan School of Irish Dance, followed by Rosemary Turco School of Irish Dance, and completed her competitive tenure with the Tony Comerford School of Irish Dance in Seattle. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Comerford School's 2004 World Irish Dance Championship team placing 3rd in figure choreography. Previously Mrs. Taylor competed at the highest levels in solo competition, dancing at the North American Irish Dance Championships, Western Regional Oireachtas, and qualifying for the World Championships in her own right. She has been a featured performer throughout Puget Sound. Mrs. Taylor lives in Burien with her husband, and has been teaching at Momentum since 2008. She previously taught with the Doonan School and at American Dance Institute. When she's not dancing in the studio, you might see Mrs. Taylor around town, facilitating public meetings about bridges, light rail, streets and pipes.
