We offer of dance classes for all ages and abilities, from beginners to pre-professional students; 3 years old through adults!. You’ll find our classes welcoming and encouraging as we aim to teach through positivity and support in a non-competitive atmosphere.

Creative Ballet (3-6yrs)
Creative Ballet classes allow children to learn early social skills, cultivate their imagination and develop cognitive thinking routines. Classes are based on basic ballet technique that is suitable for young, developing muscles and minds. Basic terminology and steps are presented with an emphasis on body awareness, muscle development, flexibility, coordination and basic movement skills. Momentum Creative Ballet Faculty use imagery, props, and age-appropriate themes to engage young dancers in a safe and supportive environment. Combo Classes include introductions to Tap and Jazz basics.
Ballet is one of the world’s most beautiful and revered art forms. Adults and children alike will love building on a foundation of coordination, strength, flexibility, grace, balance, poise and musicality. Each class is divided into barre work, centre barre, stretch, adagio, and allegro. Dancers build coordination, discipline, body awareness, and movement expression in a warm and friendly atmosphere that encourage dancers to accomplish goals and have a positive self image.
Ballet
Contemporary
Built upon the foundations laid by Modern dance, this form focuses on self-expression. Contemporary Dance bridges the gap between jazz and ballet, offering a fluid movement style and encouraging creative thinking. Classes emphasize rhythm, design, shape & motion in space, with deliberate use of gravity. Dancers are encouraged to express themselves creatively through movement and develop their own individual style.
Jazz
This dynamic high energy class focuses on rhythm, line, timing. Class includes warm ups, core strengthening, stretches, center work & across the floor turn and jump exercises. Proper alignment, balance & technique are taught in a fun, encouraging environment.
Hip Hop
Fun, energetic and extremely popular! Hip Hop is a combination of street style moves, isolations, floor work and video grooves. Age-appropriate upbeat urban movement set to today's Pop & Hip Hop music genres. Classes taught emphasizing basic movement skills as well as popular Hip Hop moves and style. Students are encouraged to add their own personal style and performance attributes into choreography.
Irish
Based on traditional dance forms originating from Ireland, Irish dance encompassing dancing both solo and in groups. Beginning dancers start with soft shoe work and progress to hard shoe work with more challenging steps such as the slip jig as level increases. Emphasis on muscle development, coordination, rhythm, performance, and proper technique.
Tap
This class develops the elements of tap dance vocabulary, musicality and individual style; while encouraging tap dance as a contemporary dance form. Emphasis is placed on coordination, clarity, rhythm, timing & phrasing.
Teen/Adult
Teen/Adult/ classes are for Fitness and Fun! Open classes in all genres for beginner through advanced. We offer something for everybody; Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz/Contemporary,Tap, and Adult Fitness. It's never too late to move!
